Spaghetti Squash

I feel so healthy when I eat spaghetti squash because squash has so many vitamins!

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.

Here's what you need to make it:

Squash

Spaghetti sauce

Fresh basil OR Italian seasoning (I like to add this to the spaghetti sauce)

First things first, you need to cut your squash in half and gut it--which is sometimes easier said than done. After you have all the stringy guts out, then you can wrap your squash in aluminum foil and drizzle some olive oil over it. Then, put it on a cookie sheet and cook it for 1 hour!

I used a generic spaghetti squash and I put fresh basil in the sauce for extra flavor (heated gently in a sauce pan). You can add whatever meat you like to the sauce.

After pulling the squash out of the oven, shred the squash with a fork until it's stringy and looks like pasta. Pour the spaghetti sauce over your squash and enjoy!
