One of my favorite things that my mom used to make for me growing up is homemade meatballs. (To this day, I have a really hard time eating the frozen ones). I wanted to share one of the many variations that you can make homemade meatballs.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Here is what you need to make them:
1 cup of blended GF oats
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3 lbs. of hamburger meat
2 teaspoons of oregano
1 cup of sweet onion (you can use less onion if you would like)
The most complicated part of making these meatball is to blend a cup of GF oats in a blender until the oats look like flour. Then, you can put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix it with your hands. I used a cookie scooper to ball up the meat into balls and then I placed them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven.
They need to cook for 15 minutes and then they are ready to be enjoyed!
